It is with great sorrow that TWK is going to close it's CS:S servers temporarily.

I believe it will be a temporary thing. TWKgaming has always proven itself to be an incredible community. Since the moment of its inception it has survived through difficult times. We have amazing community members to thank for that.

I set up TWK in 2007, and the fact it continues today not only astonishes me, but is testament to the hard work of many of its members.

Ok, so we all know the story - Valve updated CS:S and a lot of things pretty much died, one of the big ones being the WarCraft mod.

Lucky for us Pooky has been working tirelessly on pulling our server from the grave. It's still going to take a lot of time to get things back as fully as they were - in particular the large amount of races, etc.

But what he has achieved so far is something of a rarity atm - a functioning WCS server WITH effects WITH sounds WITH races workinClick here to continue reading ...

TWK Update

Howdy all.

I have something here to post on behalf of Gazza who is currently sunning it up in Cyprus the 'enter suitably detrimental word here'.

Before I do I want to say a couple of personal things.

Firstly, it's our birthday soon :) TWK will have an official birthday on the 6th of this month - due to a lack of time we might not be able to celebrate it immediately, but expect a community event very shortly after linked with our birthday. To celebrate the run up to Chrimbo, we have added some seasonal maps to our WCS and DM servers. Expect more to appear on the other servers soon!

Any problems with any of the maps, please let us know.

Just a quick note to wish Tollef and all the ULan players a great weekend of gaming.

TWK is proud to sponsor the event with a couple of private gaming servers.

I'm not sure how many are attending but it looks a big event so I'm certain it will be a buzz. I particularly like the sound of the big screen and Guitar Hero :) Lots of prize give aways too.

We've been blown away by the response to the donations thread - and as some of you know, we have our new server!

Thank you very much to everyone who has donated - this ensured that the planned upgrade to our dedicated server has, as of today, been actioned and this should put pay to the lag we currently sometimes experience! Without the donations, this was going to be very hard for us to support, if not impossible.
