I'm really into Sigur Ros at the moment, but I like anything with guitars. Favourite bands are Shack, Idlewild, Ash, Snow Patrol, Arcade Fire, Radiohead and U2. I think I might be the only person on the planet to actually like the new Guns n' Roses album.

My genre is folklore, a music genre which consists of metal and folk mixed together. It is an absolutely stunning genre, and preformed especially by Lumsk makes it perfect.

All their songs are great. The lyrics are really awesome because their way of singing it/performing it makes me feel Norwegian, really. About all of their songs is on the subject of Old Norwegian, when we believed in different gods (Norse). So in other words, the vocalist is performing an old myth/tale by singing it.
But it isn’t just the lyrics and the subject in their songs (this song), but also the melody, especially this one, it is so heavy and the violin in the background makes it really brutal and intimidating (in an awesome way that is).
This is my kind of music, and always will be (hopefully).
I also like progressive metal and classic metal, and some random songs : )

I like metal mostly but anything with a good bass, orchestra and choir is really nice. So groups like Therion, Cage and Ayreon are what I mostly listen to. But I also like electronic like Vive la Fete and VNV nation. For some reason Infected mushroom has found a way into my heart too. I dislike modern pop, rnb and rap beacause of the attitude and style they promote i think. And thats probably the music I have a hard time admitting I like some songs of...

Oh, I really love soundtracks to games like WoW and American Mcgee's Alice...

I studied music as my main interest at Uni so I acquired a fairly diverse range from classical and opera to hardcore! I don't mind most stuff; my main interest however, if pushed, would be electronic music. I got hooked with Jean-Michel Jarre and probably listen most to trance atm. I also relish ambient music and hemi-sync stuff.
