Well, in my opinion, due to the complexities of WCS and the vast amounts of races, plugins etc that we all love so dearly, it's going to happen, theres alot of code, plugins and commands the server has to cope with, unfortunately I would say it will never be fixed, because in this kind of scenario, even if you do manage to fix one issue, another will arise, however this is just my opinion, i would love someone to say "I can fix this" but I have little hope

Problem with the wcs mod is that css isnt originally build for this or even the servers there is so much crap rammed through the servers that it just tends to overload and crash there's not a *real* way of fixing this the only way of reducing these crashes drastically would be to take away the effects coz they do play a major part towards cpu usage..

anyways imo getting rid of the effects would take alot of fun out of wcs coz we all like flashy and glowy stuff

I think I remember being told that the mod needs so many plug-ins it tends to crash a lot because one or more of the plug-ins stop working also I think the effects contribute to the crashes as well tbh I don't know the full story Probs a better idea to ask one of the senior admins about it.

never known a wcs server that doesnt crash shall jst have to live with it
