Alright everyone? I'm back, and supporting the gg servers like never before due tio the recent death of tmh gg server!

Played both the gg and ggdm servers tonight, and thought I'd give a report on both, because as DS said, both need lots of tender loving care (and I just the gg servers so can't let them go without that TLC now can I?) I've made it easy for everyone, GGDM is in blue
GG is in green

So let's start with the GGDM server.
Glock to m249 (no auto or awp) and then back to glock up to nade then knife. 42 levels overall and despite the large weapon cycle, maps can go extremely quickly. A fast paced gg that never ends!

Only thing I noticed that was off was that on nade level you get just one clip, making it practically impossible to do it yourself or in one life, more challenging in gg yes but in deathmatch? Another clip at the very least would improve everyones chances and would mean people wouldn't need to resort to spawn camping and knifing people as they come out of protection to get a nade.

There's a total of 80 maps so there are bound to be a few broken ones/crappy ones, over the next few weeks before I go to uni I'll be looking into finding them.

Broken maps:
gg_lego_rgb_ggn - in a matter of seconds the entire team can be pinned down into spawn, unable to do anything to get out and escape the onslaught of the other team that spawn camps, I have tried to stop people but when it's the entire team, I don't particularly want to practically half the server players, and what's to say the other team won't just start doing it back... I'd suggest this map get's removed from the server.

CS and DE maps are still on here, they have buy menus which completely ruins the whole point of ggdm. Would suggest they be removed.

No others atm, I will look through the rest when. No sorry... IF the server is empty, although if we could arrange a small test server that has the ggdm maps on it so I can have a run around and test them with a friend or something then that'd be brilliant.

gg server:
Glock to nade and then knife, no auto or awp. An enticing, competetive mod that allows players to learn how to use the majority of gun types, great for whatever you want, be it a little fun, some competition or just some practice on guns you don't like. One level per kill (max of 1 per round lest you knife) creates a nice, gentle flow of the game and can help maps last longer for that extra bit of fun!

Same as the ggdm server, nade level only gives one clip of ammo. However, I feel that on the normal gg this is acceptable, it allows players to have more of a challenge with that level, and seeing as they can still pick up other guns and use them, it is alot more adaptable than on ggdm where you have to resort to just a knife.

I've heard quite a few people saying that the new sounds (The one where you enter, is it one of the muppets?) are not as good as the old ones, perhaps changing them again either to completely new ones or the old ones would be a good idea and see how people react.

There is a total of TWO HUNDRED maps on this server
Quite alot are good, but there are about 3 pages of de maps, 3 pages of simpsons maps, 3 different churches (x and x_final aren't really needed, but neithers _v2... where's normal churches? ) and tons more that need a good thorough sorting out.

As for the rest, same as ggdm server (both servers map lists done seperately mind you, won't know which ones belong to which server otherwise!), a test server with all of the maps from this server would be brilliant as yet again, it is very rare I see this server without at least one player.

For both servers I have noticed I can no longer use the admin spray or anything, I can ban/slap/slay etc, however I can't set map votes, use peoples sprays to find out who uses a porn spray, change people from team to team or to spectate, all of which I had before. Was wondering if I could get that back, even if it was just for the gg servers (although surf as well would be good as I'm occasionally on there).

On a final note, I don't think the hlstatsx are correct, as there is just one gg server, two different zombie servers, a surf rpg server and a wcs server on there. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think we have a zombie server anymore and surf is just normal dm, along with another skill surf server. So they might need looking at.

Most maps on the maplist arent on rotation, I'll make it so the maplist and mapcycle are the same.

Some plugins need to be added as the spray trace one and some others, its an ongoing project but there are a lot of things to do atm (trust me you will see them when done)

Didnt notice that on nade p228 only had a clip, will see on configs a way to change that.
