So i came up with this idea for minecraft.

what if we get a minecraft server with survival without cheats (so where you have to work for everything). and get 2 factions going that can fight with each other. like some kind of castle wars.

both factions can make a castle and later on defend it. where everybody can use what they gained trough playing the game. so that we can have castle sieges and that everybody can just equip their armor and swords/bows and get this little war going .

so it would be something like.

nobody is allowed to pvp when it's light. so it's a bit calm and you can chop your tree in peace.

underground pvp is always allowed. so mining is a bit more intense since you could get ganked at every moment.

castle sieges 1ns a week/2 weeks.

I'd suggest 2 massive squares with a few entrances. These would be the building zones. Not sure about floors though, digging under might be a bit too easy. And there would need to be an objective, (A diamond block in the middle of both which only the opposite team could mine?).

There's alot more to consider, but we'll do a beta run before opening it to the public, I'd imagine.

well it should be a normal server where everyone just has to play normal and mine for everything and then a week in advance there will be a castle wars announcement where people get in teams and they start building castle for their team in that week. and about the mining tunneling trough the floor should be allowed castle on lava = fun for tunnelers anyway yeah still have to work some stuff out put suppose every 1 can join in to help getting this together =D

Oh, I though you meant that the server would be only castle wars :L
