It's still a very good film. That doen't change even if you know the whole history behind it, I don't understand you... Even if it's a film, following the true history, it still can be a very good film. We've got Der Untergang, Schindler's List, D-Day (allthough it's americanized), Das Boot etc etc... these are basicly following the true history and they are still some of the best films in the world.
