This looks sooo awesome! Play Station has developed this controller based on the Wii controller, but they have taken it to an entire next step! I'm most impressed by the bit on 5:09 ->

Genuinely awe-inspiring.
Always going in for the kill; just doing it for the thrill.

I saw that too, it looks cool. Buuut I don't think it'll work as good as the PS3 motion controller. You see in the commercial, they play that game where you push a "button" when you know the answer. I do not think that the camera will detect the difference when you are just moving your thumb or if you are actually trying to push the "button". A good idea, but I looks dull, when i.e swinging a sword, its probably better to have something to grab on to, rather than swinging your arms with nothing in your hands, same with pistols etc.

TBH they are now taking the Wii's idea and putting it into an HD format, making the Xbox360 more active friendly and attempting to take the Wii Fit audience, whereas the PS3 are doing more of an Elebits and gamers style audience and giving them an even more challenging and awsome experience, which I myself would go for compared to the fitness stuff Xbox are spewing out from that

The best thing is the bow by far! SO wanna try that!!

Either approach looks good and functional, however the ms one will lack in games where extra movements are needed.

Reading body movements is old, i know a project in an portuguese university with about 10 years, where the body was used to play a ball game, nothing really new on 360, as for the ps3, having something for the machine to read on us, will make those controllers ALOT more precise, with the 360 stuff there is no way to paint like he did on ps3 or using a sword.

For me the ps3 idea has alot more to work with than the ms one.

Nooo, i.e, I love The Legend of Zelda, it would be awesome to play that game with that kind of controller. siiick.
Also, it would have been fun to try Metal Gear, but I don't know how it would work out since you've got so many possibilities there...
