What happens if I connect my PC and Xbox together with the 3,5mm minijack? I want both signals to go to the sterio. This is of course the sound outputs and the sterios input.

Well, in a way you can get one of those pre-made plugs that make it 1 to 2 although normally its used for the opposite, from one to 2 not 2 to 1, not sure... I will let the "low voltage experts" speak... lol
DS : No worries. I've just tried to burn then microwave then shred my wow invite.

Lets that, connecting everything works.. kinda.. or not.. kinda, confusing? I'll explain.

First, I assume your sterio ( ) has only one input.
Second, sound mixing, on a mixer, is really, connecting the wires together from all sources. (not only, but is basic idea)

However, mixers have coupling capacitors and resistors (RC grid) to balance the overall resistance and noise cancellation.

You should use a mixer to connect both sources to the "sterio" 2 input mixers with one output come in very cheap like this cgi.ebay.de/OMNITRONIC-LH-025-3-Kanal-St...ht_3377wt_1165" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If any more doubts (the isn't much more to say about what you want) drop a post here

Well I have a mixer, but kinda wanted to avoid that because I'm lazy P I know it can handle it.

Don't take my word on it, and if you do it and fry everything up, don't blame me, but, i've done that a few times and no problem with signals going in reverse into the pc or xbox, as both should (and the have) normalized audio outputs an no harm should happen.

Little update:

Tried it. (scared as hell! ) dont seem to do any harm, but the signals are alot weaker and there are some disturbing noises.

dont recommend it, at least not if you are a music freak like me

As I told in a post above, mixers use rc grids to cancel noise and maintain signal quality.

Buy a simple 4 channel stero mixer, they are really very cheap

something like this
