Hey guys i have a couple of processes that I never use but always load on startup to my annoyance I have check all over the UI of these processes to no avail anyone know of a nice little tool where I can tell the register to tell the app to piss off.

The main one in question is HTCs uploader thingy ma bob

Start > Run (or Windows Key > R) and type "msconfig" without quotes. Go to the "Startup" tab and uncheck any you don't want (don't worry about removing necessary processes by accident, they automagically check themselves) and restart the computer.
If that doesn't work, try going to the "Startup" folder in the Start Menu and deleting shortcuts from there.
If that doesn't work either, not sure what else to do
