I must asure, is quite a BIIIIIIIG transfer rate

On our HighEnd systems (and we have plenty) the average maximum is 300Mb/s to tape and 3.5Gb/s on multiple fabric storage (milions of millions€ in HD'S and millions of them) Only available on an IBM 595 other regular midrange systems never top 600Mb/s.

This is quite speedy for that ammount of cash, believe me, worth every penny if you have the use for it.
