This is confusing :s

Put the 64bit cd in the drive.

Reboot your pc

Access the bios of your pc by pressing DEL or F10 or whatever key it mentions (you will notice that it shows in the startup of the pc "press XXX for setup"

Make sure your dvd drive is set to boot first than your hard drive by going to boot devices on bios and moving it to 1st position.

Exit saving changes.

When the prompt "press any key to boot from cd" appears...

press
and it will boot from the cd.

Then follow the same setup steps.
DS : No worries. I've just tried to burn then microwave then shred my wow invite.

If you have all your stuff backed up then yes.

Installing via booting the DVD is not an upgrade, but a completely clean install.

Make sure, for peace of mind, that your documents and anything you want to keep are not on the drive you install Win 7 onto.

Bios started the Win7 boot DVD at 5.05pm.

Online by 5.27 on Win 7.

Not too bad.

Now to reinstall everything ...
