Sorry, correct me if I'm wrong. Do you have a server rack or something? Because NIC's have a maximum transfer rate of only 1000Mbit/s I don't see how you could possibly get 2Gbit/s down one NIC.

Likewise, my university has 2 dedicated 1Gbit pipes and my speed tests are limited to 100Mbit as well, I normally only get 98ish Mbit. The only thing bad about it, is that its got a firewall
